OUR TRIP TO WOODLOCH

A FAMILY WEEKEND AT WOODLOCH

Last weekend, Dave and the kids and I had the pleasure of spending a crispy, fall weekend in Hawley, PA at Woodloch Pines Resort. To say it was an absolute blast would be an understatement.

Woodloch is an all-inclusive, family resort with something for everyone. As we wandered the property, I was struck by the sight of so many generations of families spending time together. There were infants, great grandparents and everyone in between. Do you want to know the best part? Woodloch is owned and run by generations of the Kiesendahl Family, who were on site and running the fun themselves.

We swam, go-carted, ice-skated, and paddle boated. We went on a spooky Halloween hay-ride and stayed up way past our bedtimes. We ate and laughed and cuddled in the comfy beds.

Eating was SO simple. (When is eating out with kids ever simple?) The dining room staff went above and beyond at every meal. While the food options were plentiful, they also had repeat, kid-friendly staples at the ready. The staff was so knowledgable about the property and ready to answer all of our questions.

Nate’s favorite part of our stay at Woodloch was the go carts. Ruby loved swimming and zipping down the water slide and Sloane can’t stop gushing about the “special drinks” at dinner time. Dave and I loved hanging out with each other and the kids and we REALLY loved not having to plan a single thing!

All three kids had such a great time, they already want to know if we can go back when it snows.

Woodloch gets The Workspace seal of approval. We can’t wait to go back with grandparents and cousins along for the fun.
